As most of you probably know already, things have not been going so well in Scandinavia. Apart from some of us being literaly snowed in, this week saw some pretty sad developments in the Nordic countries. Car enthusiasts will immediately think of GM’s decision to finally abandon Saab, while regular people will (hopefully) have noticed the stalemate and following (according to some) failure of the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.A number of enviromentally friendly car companies decided to use COP 15 as a showcase for their craft (RUF springs to mind). The Californians over at Fisker Automotive took the concept one step further, lending an example of the much talked about Fisker Karma to Denmark’s crown prince himself, Frederik. The Karma is a hybrid affair that is claimed to travel 50 miles on only electricity, before a small gasoline engine kicks in for another 250 miles.
